A basic understanding of cloud services has become a requirement for web developers. In 2023, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud appear to be the big three. However, other services like Alibaba, Oracle, IBM (Kyndryl) and Digital Ocean might be worth considering depending on your needs.

PaaS – Platform as a Service – They manage all IaaS plus Runtime, Middleware, O/S
SaaS – Software as a Service – They manage all Paas plus Applications and Data
