Email Pros and Cons
Regarding the pros and cons of email, there are a lot of both.
Pros:
- Relatively inexpensive, email offers excellent marketing ROI
- Ubiquitous, everyone uses email
- It provides users an anytime method of retrieval and response
- It’s searchable and archive-able, can be easily forwarded and deleted, sent to one person or many and offers many advantages found in no other communication medium.
Cons:
- SPAM
- Security
- Lack of standards
- Development challenges
